“Due to the significant disruptions to urban and suburban mobility caused by the truck drivers’ strike and the resulting difficulty in obtaining fuel, the City of Naples has implemented extraordinary organizational measures to ensure the continuity of administrative operations and the regularity of institutional services,” reads an official statement.
“With the directive promoted by Mayor Gaetano Manfredi, the municipal administration—signed by Director General Pasquale Granata—has invited the heads of departments and municipalities to encourage the widest and temporary application of agile (remote) work for their employees. Consequently, managers will assess staff requests with flexibility, giving particular priority to employees who face serious difficulties in reaching physical workplaces due to distance or lack of public transportation. However, on-site presence is still required for institutional activities and citizen services that necessarily demand it.”
