Lifetime actress Natasha Wilson has filed a lawsuit against a man whose dog allegedly left her permanently disfigured after an attack at a dog park.
Wilson, who is known for her roles in Lifetime films including The Best Version of Love and Single and Ready to Jingle, alleged in her suit that her injuries have impacted her ability to work, according to court docs obtained by The New York Post on Wednesday, November 4.
The actress claimed that she was walking her French bulldog at the West Hollywood Dog Park around 9:40 p.m. on Nov. 7, 2024, when she crossed paths with defendant Gregory Marcel and his dog, Scruffy.
Wilson alleged that Scruffy approached her dog “and stood over it in an aggressive and dominant posture.” When she attempted to pick up her dog, Scruffy allegedly jumped on her and caused her to lose hold of her pup.
“Scruffy continued to attack, while Wilson was on the ground attempting to shield her dog with her body and hands,” the suit alleged, per The Post. “During the attack, Scruffy bit Wilson on the face, above her right eyebrow, causing a laceration and bleeding.”
After the incident, Wilson went to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai with Marcel, where she received stitches and was prescribed antibiotics.
“As a result of the incident, Wilson suffered a laceration above her right eyebrow requiring sutures and has been left with a permanent, visible, and painful scar, an altered eyebrow, hair pattern, and impaired movement of the right brow,” the lawsuit claimed.
Wilson was allegedly told that she requires scar revision surgery and additional treatment.
“Wilson was prevented from attending her usual occupation and thereby sustained a loss of earnings and an impairment of her earning capacity,” the suit read.
