ALBUQUERQUE — The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History (NMNSH) will host “Meet the Museum” open house Friday, Jan. 24. The community is invited to explore the nation’s only congressionally chartered museum in its field at 601 Eubank Blvd SE in Albuquerque. The event begins at 2 p.m., with engaging STEM activities 5-7 p.m. and free admission.
Meet the Museum offers a unique opportunity for attendees to discover the Museum’s rich collection of scientific and historical artifacts, ask questions, and learn about the many ways to get involved with the Museum.
Event highlights include exploring volunteer opportunities, the many benefits of museum membership, educational offerings, including camps and homeschool sessions, and special events designed for all ages.
Attendees will also learn about options for hosting gatherings at the Museum and group and educational tours. Throughout the event, the Museum will host hourly giveaways.
“Meet the Museum is a fantastic opportunity to connect with members of our community and learn about the exciting initiatives happening at the Museum,” said Jennifer Hayden, President and CEO of the Museum. “We believe museums are for everyone and look forward to welcoming guests through our doors.”
