New Tata Winger Plus Launched In India
Tata Motors has introduced the all-new Winger Plus, a premium 9-seater van aimed at staff transport and tourism services. Priced at Rs 20.60 lakh (ex‑showroom), the vehicle aims to blend comfort, technology, and efficiency. Tata Motors says the vehicle offers passenger-friendly features and modern fleet management tools, and is built on a monocoque chassis for stability and car-like ride quality.
Speaking on the occasion, Anand S, Vice President and Head – Commercial Passenger Vehicle Business, Tata Motors, said, “The Winger Plus has been thoughtfully engineered to deliver a premium experience for passengers and a compelling value proposition for fleet operators. With its superior ride comfort, best-in-class comfort features, and segment-leading efficiency, it is designed to drive profitability while offering the lowest cost of ownership. India’s passenger mobility landscape is evolving rapidly—from staff transportation in urban centres to the rising demand for tourism across the country. The Winger Plus is built to serve this diversity, setting new benchmarks in the commercial passenger vehicle segment.”
Design And Comfort Features
Tata says that the Winger Plus puts passenger comfort first with reclining captain seats that have armrests you can adjust, AC vents for each person, and personal USB charging spots. A spacious cabin and plenty of space for luggage make it a practical choice for long trips. Moreover, the wide layout and ergonomic design aims to reduce fatigue on extended routes.
Performance And Connectivity
Under the hood, you will find a 2.2-litre Dicor diesel engine. This unit delivers 100 hp of maximum power and 200 Nm of peak torque. Fleet operators also get to enjoy Tata’s Fleet Edge connected platform which offers real-time vehicle tracking, diagnostics, and fleet optimisation. Through this technology, business efficiency from the operators is boosted while costs are reduced effectively.
Safety and Driving Experience
Built on a monocoque chassis, the Winger Plus promises enhanced safety and driving stability. Tata claims a car-like ride and handling to make long-haul drives easier on the driver. The brand further asserts that the design keeps durability and comfort as a priority, which is necessary in high-utilisation commercial environments.
After-Sales Network
The Winger Plus is backed by the Sampoorna Seva 2.0, Tata’s comprehensive vehicle lifecycle program. It offers guaranteed turnaround times, annual maintenance contracts, easy availability of genuine spare parts, and reliable breakdown assistance to support anywhere in India.
