New Venue For 2025 Tejano Music Awards Announced

Historically when you think of the Tejano Music Awards, you think of San Antonio, Texas, and rightfully so. San Antonio has been called the capital of Tejano music for as long as I can remember so naturally, that is where the Tejano Music Awards are held. However, times do change.

A new venue has been announced for the Tejano Music Awards

Today, the Tejano Music Awards announced that the 2025 show will be held in Katy, Texas, at the new Texas Rodeo Saloon on Friday, November 21. A change from the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, the location of the Tejano Music Awards for the past few years. Tickets and tables are available at the Texas Rodeo Saloon website.

This is a historic change for Tejano music.

I spoke with Nick Guerra, who books entertainment for Tejano Fridays at the Texas Saloon, and he said this started out as a small talk among the Tejano Music Awards, The Texas Rodeo Saloon, and Nick Guerra, and it turned into a historic change for the TMA. We look forward to an exciting night for the Tejano Music Award.

The Texas Rodeo Saloon is on fire right now

The Texas Rodeo Saloon has taken over the Tejano and Norteno scene in the Houston area thanks to its huge dance floor and high caliber entertainment every weekend. It’s packed because it has a capacity of about 2,200 people. It will be the perfect place to host the Tejano Music Awards.
