Newgen Software bags order worth RS 21.24 crore from Kshema General Insurance

Newgen Software Technologies Limited, a leading provider of digital transformation solutions, has recently informed exchanges that it has received and accepted a purchase order worth ₹21.24 crore (including taxes) from Kshema General Insurance Limited. The order is for Newgen’s Policy Administration System, reinforcing the company’s strong foothold in the insurance technology space.

According to the filing with stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the scope of the contract includes software licensing, implementation, and annual support services. The agreement will be executed over a period of five years.

The project is domestic in nature, with Kshema General Insurance Limited being based in India. Importantly, Newgen confirmed that the transaction does not fall under related party transactions, and neither the promoters nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity.
