Nissan Motor to launch two new models in India

Nissan Motor India has announced the addition of two new models to its product lineup—a 7-seater B-MPV and a 5-seater C-SUV—as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence in the fast-growing Indian passenger vehicle market.

The announcement followed the company’s Global Product Showcase Event in Yokohama, Japan. According to Nissan, the 7-seater B-MPV will be launched soon, marking the company’s entry into the multi-purpose vehicle segment in India. The 5-seater C-SUV will follow in early FY26. Both models will cater to high-growth segments and expand Nissan’s portfolio beyond its existing B-SUV offerings, which are currently led by the Magnite.

The company has set an ambitious target of achieving 1,00,000 units in annual domestic sales and exports from India in the coming years. To support this goal, both new models will be locally manufactured at the Alliance JV plant in Chennai.

Nissan also confirmed that the 5-seater C-SUV will be produced in India for global markets, in line with its “One Car, One World” strategy, reinforcing its commitment to expanding both domestic and international operations.
