Nvidia brings GeForce NOW cloud gaming to India this November: Plans, features, and more

Nvidia has confirmed that its cloud gaming service, GeForce NOW, will arrive in India this November. The launch, through its GFNA partner Brothers Picture, follows the service’s recent rollout in Thailand. GeForce NOW allows gamers to stream and play high-end PC games directly from the cloud, removing the need for expensive gaming hardware.

The company revealed the news at Gamescom 2025 alongside details of its Blackwell RTX upgrade, which promises a significant leap in performance for cloud gamers worldwide.

GeForce NOW provides access to a broad range of games across multiple devices. PC, Mac, smartphones, certain LG TVs, and handheld consoles such as Steam Deck and Lenovo’s Legion Go will all support the service. Nvidia says players in India will be able to enjoy high-end graphics, smoother gameplay, and AI-driven features without paying more than global subscribers.

“Players in India and around the world can already upgrade to an Ultimate membership to be among the first to access the new RTX 5080 power,” Nvidia said, warning that server space is limited and encouraging early sign-ups.

GeForce NOW: Pricing and plans

Pricing for India is yet to be officially announced. Globally, GeForce NOW offers two subscription tiers. The Ultimate plan costs $19.99 per month or $199.99 annually, while the Performance plan is priced at $9.99 per month. Both plans include 100GB of cloud storage, with options to purchase more. Nvidia has stated that Indian pricing will likely mirror these global tiers.

Blackwell RTX: The biggest upgrade yet

Starting in September, Nvidia will power GeForce NOW with the new Blackwell RTX architecture. This is the company’s most substantial upgrade to date. The servers will deliver GeForce RTX 5080-class performance, offering 62 teraflops of compute power, a 48GB frame buffer, and up to 2.8 times faster frame rates compared with previous generations.“This upgrade will deliver GeForce RTX 5080-class performance directly to a variety of devices, from PCs and Macs to smartphones, without any increase in membership prices,” Nvidia said. The update also introduces new AI-driven visual features. Install-to-Play, a feature available for premium members, lets games be installed directly in the cloud. This expands the library to nearly 4,500 titles, including over 2,200 Steam games.

Upcoming games at launch

Nvidia confirmed several high-profile titles optimised for the new RTX 5080 servers. Players will be able to stream Borderlands 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, The Outer Worlds 2, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, and Dying Light: The Beast as soon as they launch. Other games, including Arc Raiders and Hell Is Us, will also join the library.

The Blackwell RTX upgrade ensures flexible and high-quality gaming across devices. GeForce NOW will run at 90 frames per second on Steam Decks, 4K at 120 frames per second on Lenovo’s Legion Go handheld, and up to 5K on compatible LG monitors. Certain LG TVs will support 4K at 120Hz streaming without additional hardware. Mac users will receive the full upgrade, opening high-end gaming options previously unavailable on Apple machines.

Nvidia Reflex technology ensures low latency, keeping network delays under 30 milliseconds, while DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation enhance visual clarity. This combination makes cloud gaming a viable option for both casual and competitive players.

Cloud gaming is increasingly popular as players seek access to high-quality gaming without investing in expensive PCs or consoles. Nvidia has been steadily expanding GeForce NOW worldwide, targeting emerging markets where the gaming community is growing rapidly. The India launch positions the country as one of Nvidia’s key markets in Asia.

With the new Blackwell RTX upgrade, competitive and casual gamers alike can experience high-end performance and immediate access to new titles. The combination of a large game library, cross-device support, and premium features makes GeForce NOW a compelling option for Indian gamers.
