OnePlus Nord 5 India launch could happen soon even as the company is planning for the big 13s launch in the country.

OnePlus Nord 5 is set for a launch in India soon, according to an online tipster, Debayan Roy. The tipster suggested the launch timeline and price and detailed the key features available in the latest OnePlus upgrade.

The purported handset would be powered by a binned version of the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset and could be a modified version of the OnePlus Ace 5V, which is reportedly set for launch in China later in May.

OnePlus Nord 5 offers users an update on the existing OnePlus Nord 4 which was introduced in India in July last year as a relaunched version of the OnePlus Ace 3V.

In an online post, Roy, who goes by @Gadgetsdata on X, claimed the expected price of the mobile would be Rs 30,000. When replying to a comment, he also suggested the phone could arrive in India as early as June or July.

The tipster also wrote the OnePlus Nord 5 could come with a flat OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate in a major key feature. It will use the Dimensity 9400e SoC to power itself, which is notably a binned version of the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset.

OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to arrive with a dual rear camera unit comprising of a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The front camera of the phone could feature a 16MP sensor. OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to carry a 7,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.

The Nord 5 design is likely to include a plastic frame and a glass back, with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It is also expected to have dual speakers and an IR blaster.

OnePlus 13s is also being teased by the company in the Indian market and going by reports, this could be a compact flagship phone. The 13s is likely to borrow its design and hardware from the OnePlus 13T that was recently launched in China.
