Only 12 Of These Ultra Luxury Range Rovers Exist In India! Here’s Why You Probably Wont Be Allowed To Buy One? News24 –
Special editions seem to be the new way of making it into the headlines. Brands often release new special editions that are limited to a small bunch as halo products to drive sales towards their existing run of the mill cars. While we were waiting for the upcoming Mercedes G Wagon India edition, Range Rover has taken up the opportunity and launched its all new SV Masara Edition. The car has been launched at Rs 4.99 crore. Masara in Arabic stands for the one who has integrity and beauty, and its only evident that the Range Rover has oodles of both of these qualities.
Indian specific special editions seem to be in vogue, as right before this edition Range Rover had also launched a specialized Ranthambore Edition. Masara edition has further been crafted with more luxuries than the previous one. Designed by the special vehicle operations team the vehicle is limited to a total of only 12 vehicles. Each one of them has been equipped with satin blue interior inserts, copper accents on the grill, bumpers, and doors.
Touches of copper interest follow all along the vehicle with 23- inch forged alloy wheels which further enhance the appeal of the aggressive SUV.
Special Features That The SV Offers
To further ensure that the buyers of the ultimate luxury vehicle do not have to put in any efforts by themselves, the car has been equipped with four electrically adjustable seats that have heating and cooling functions, and if that’s too conventional the seats also offer massage functions. To step beyond the normal levels of luxury the vehicle also offers a refrigerator to ensure that your favorite beverages are always frosty and cold.
Powertrain Of The Vehicle
The Range Rover Masara Edition has been equipped with a 4.4 Liter V8 petrol engine that produces close to 615 Ps of power and 750 Nm of torque output. The SUV is mated to a 8 speed Torque Converter Automatic transmission and gets an all-wheel drivetrain.
Special Editions such as the Masara often have a very limited production spell, and beyond that such vehicles are often booked while they are being manufactured. With these its all about the image that the brand projects, hence often even after putting in Purchase orders the orders are pegged based on the previous purchases from the brand and history with the clients. Such vehicles often sell out before they make it to the launch, as seen in the case of the recently brought in CBU Volkswagen Golf GTI. The whole batch of the vehicle was called for and reserved within a short amount of time as soon as the bookings were initiated, hence you would need deep pockets and a profound bit of luck to land such deals.
