Pak Veterans Greens win 4th Mehtab Chawla Master Hockey title

LAHORE  –  Pakistan Veterans Greens edged out Paki­stan Veterans Blues by 8-7 in the 4th Mehtab Chawla Floodlight Ramzan Mas­ter Hockey Tournament 2025 that con­cluded in Karachi.

The match was tied at 4-4 in regular time, leading to a penalty shootout where Greens successfully converted four pen­alty strokes while Blue managed three.

Governor Sindh, Dr. Kamran Khan Tes­sori, graced the concluding ceremony as chief guest and presented the winners’ trophy of the 4th Mehtab Chawla Mas­ters Hockey Tournament to the champion team, Pakistan Veterans Greens Hockey Club. He lauded the winning team and also commended the organizers for suc­cessfully conducting the event.

Team captain, Olympian Qamar Ibra­him, and international player Muham­mad Ali received the winning trophy. Also present at the occasion were for­mer Olympian Islahuddin Siddiqui, Ka­shif Chawla, Sheikh Aqil Ahmed, Farrukh Chawla, Rehan Chawla, Noman Chawla, Ghulam Muhammad Khan, and other dis­tinguished personalities.
