Myanmar: Visuals of the impact of the strong 7.7-magnitude earthquake that hit Myanmar on Friday, causing severe damage and collapse of buildings, continue to surface. Strong tremors were also felt in Thailand. On Saturday, a scary video surfaced from Bangkok in which water in the rooftop could be seen spilling over the edge of a building causing panic among tourists.
The video, reportedly is from a high-rise in Bangkok, showed people relaxing in a rooftop swimming pool as the earthquake caused the water to move back and forth before forcefully spilling over the edge of the building.
The CCTV footage shows that the people in the pool suddenly are seen in a panic mode and trying to get out of the pool and fled the spot. The timing of the incident was 13:18 PM.

In Myanmar, at least 1,000 casualties have been reported. The tremors of the earthquake was felt in China, Bangkok and India. A total of six earthquakes rocked the Asian nation.
Another video, from Thailand has gone viral in which a man purportedly from British origin can be seen shocked seeing waves inside the rooftop of hotel swimming pool.
The man recording the 37-second long video can be heard saying, “What the f**k mate, what the f**k.”
In the video, the hotel swimming pool can be seen overflowing and continuous waves crashing all the way to the sitting area of the pool.
PM Modi has declared that India is ready to offer assistance and under the initiative India has till now sent 15 tonnes of relief materials, including solar lamps, food packets and kitchen sets, to Myanmar on an IAF C 130 J aircraft.
