Premium AI Features Without Breaking The Bank News24 –
As ChatGPT establishes its roots in India, the Artificial Intelligence research and deployment team behind it streamlines the roadmap for future prospects in the nation. As per media reports, the brand has recently been in discussions with Reliance Industries regarding possible collaborations. The aim is to broaden its artificial intelligence offerings in India.
A relationship between Reliance Jio and OpenAI may potentially lead to ChatGPT being offered at a lower subscription price. Since India is a developing market, OpenAI is planning to tap into low-cost offerings to make AI more accessible.
OpenAI has already ventured into the bottom of the AI market pyramid by launching a more affordable subscription tier in India called ChatGPT Go, priced at ₹399 per month.
The announcement was made by Nick Turley, OpenAI’s Vice President and Head of ChatGPT, on X. With this subscription, the brand aims to bring users the benefits of 10x higher messaging limits, 10x more image generations, 10x more file uploads, and 2x more memory compared to the free tier commonly used.
The Go version is significantly more affordable than OpenAI’s existing top-tier plans—ChatGPT and ChatGPT Pro—which are priced at ₹19,900 per month. To further ensure accessibility, OpenAI has also introduced UPI payments, making subscriptions easier for Indian users.
Prices and Sign-Up Process
The ChatGPT Go plan comes at a monthly price of ₹399. Users can check eligibility by logging into their ChatGPT account, clicking the profile icon, and selecting “Upgrade Plan” > “Try Go.” Payments can be made via credit card or UPI.
