Private Sector Forum will be held in Turkmenistan within the framework of UN Conference

The Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries will host a Private Sector Forum, which will become a unique platform for strengthening the position of small and medium-sized businesses in Turkmenistan and their integration into global supply chains.

As the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports, the Forum’s organizers are paying special attention to its role in overcoming challenges related to geographical location.

The Conference will feature special sessions and events dedicated to issues of entrepreneurship, attracting investment, developing logistics and transport corridors, and expanding trade relations.

Turkmen entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their projects, exchange experiences with colleagues from other countries and establish new business contacts. This will create favorable conditions for concluding mutually beneficial agreements and implementing joint initiatives.

Turkmen entrepreneurship is not limited to traditional areas of activity. More and more companies are investing in innovative projects that promote sustainable development, including the introduction of energy-efficient technologies, the development of renewable energy sources, the production of environmentally friendly products and the use of resource-saving methods. Thus, in the agricultural sector, farmers actively use advanced agricultural technologies, drip irrigation systems and organic farming methods, which allows not only to increase crop yields, but also to use water resources rationally. In the industrial sector, the number of enterprises implementing environmental management standards and reducing waste volumes is growing.

The Conference, which will be held at the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone, will provide new opportunities for deepening cooperation between the private sector of Turkmenistan and international organizations, including various UN agencies, financial institutions and donor organizations.

Thus, the Private Sector Forum will become an important milestone in the history of entrepreneurship development in the country and will significantly strengthen its position in the international arena. This event will not only generate interest in Turkmen business and its capabilities, but will also become an incentive for further development of market mechanisms and attraction of foreign investment.
