Provantage helps launch new international M&A alliance

Nottingham-headquartered Provantage Corporate Finance has become a founding member of a new international mergers and acquisitions (M&A) network aimed at making cross-border deals more efficient.

The firm, which also has offices in Birmingham and London, has joined six other European advisers to launch 7oceans, a new alliance of independent M&A specialists. Founding members also include Taurus Advisory (Germany), Adviso (France), Nash Advisory (Italy), Stepstone Corporate Finance+ (Netherlands), Ramus & Company (Switzerland) and CKS Finance (Ireland).

Each firm will continue to operate independently but work together through shared databases, joint pitches, weekly deal calls and bi-annual global conferences. The aim is to give clients better access to buyers and target companies across borders while maintaining trusted local relationships.

Sally Saunders, partner at Provantage Corporate Finance and a board member at 7oceans, said: “It’s refreshing to help shape a new alliance built on close-knit, trusted relationships. As founding members, we’re already seeing the impact – faster, smarter, and more seamless cross-border transactions.”

The alliance is targeting mid-market transactions and is seeking to expand beyond Europe, with plans to bring in members across North America, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
