Radicle Science appoints Liya Sharif Lancia as chief marketing officer

In a May 28, 2025, press release, health tech company Radicle Science announced a new addition to its leadership. Liya Sharif Lancia will join as chief marketing officer, bringing more than 20 years of experience in marketing and communications for various technology companies. Her previous experience and roles include vice president of marketing at Qualcomm, and cofounding the AI and data tech company Cercle in 2021, where she is currently on their board of directors. Sharif Lancia also has experience at a brand/digital agency as managing partner.

Using clinical trials, crowdsourcing, consumer science, and more, Radicle Science offers a proof-as-a-service platform to bring validation to health effects of natural products, covering diverse populations.

“Radicle Science is driving a paradigm shift in how wellness products are validated and democratized through clinical evidence—by harnessing the power of technology, science and real-world data,” stated Sharif Lancia, in the press release. “I’m thrilled to join at such a transformative moment of growth, where marketing can play a pivotal role in building brand love, opening new customer channels, and driving lasting value. Founded in 2021, the company has reportedly studied more Americans than FDA drug approved trials during the same timeframe, studying more than 70,000 Americans in blinded placebo-controlled trials. Additionally, in March, Radicle Science announced it had appointed Dr. Rob Sinnott as senior strategic advisor.

Thorogood, along with Sybille Buchwald of Vital Solutions GmbH, will present on nutraceuticals and AI at Nutriform Business Days taking place June 24-25, 20251.
