KUWAIT: Police have arrested a driver seen performing reckless stunts in a video circulated on social media and sent him to Central Prison, and his car has been crushed, the Interior Ministry said.
The Ahmadi Governorate Security Directorate seized the vehicle, which had been modified for reckless driving, in Ali Sabah Al-Salem. The Vehicle Movement Section of the Operations and Patrols Department identified the car through monitoring and field follow-up.
The vehicle was taken to Ali Sabah Al-Salem police station and impounded, and a case of endangering the lives of others was filed against its owner.
The General Traffic Department’s Security Control Department then tracked down and arrested the driver. Legal action was taken against him, he was sent to Central Prison and the car was crushed.
