Red River Raiders Football Club introduced to public ahead of preseason opener at M.D. Ray Field on Saturday

BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) – The Ark-La-Tex’s newest professional sports franchise has officially been opened for business.

The Red River Raiders football club held a ribbon cutting ceremony at Freedom Fields in Bossier City.

The team begins play, officially, on May 21st versus the Louisiana Krewe, in Lafayette.

On May 24, the Raiders will host Little Rock, in Red River’s home debut.

Saturday, the Raiders will welcome the community to M.D. Ray Field, on the campus of Airline High School, for a family fun day that starts at 5:00.

Fans will have a chance to meet players and coaches.

The night will end with the Raiders playing in an intrasquad scrimmage.
