Redefining Nepal’s marketing strategies
The Nepalese Marketing Association (NMA), in collaboration with the US Embassy Nepal, is hosting ‘AInspire AI in Marketing Summit 2025’ today and tomorrow at The Soaltee, Kathmandu. This summit, the first of its kind in Nepal, aims to explore how AI can enhance marketing and business practices in the country.
Mahesh Swar, President of NMA, underscores the importance of the event, stating, “This summit will focus on how AI can be integrated into marketing and business to enhance Nepali consumer experiences and market efficiency. AI-driven insights will enable businesses to better forecast customer behaviour and improve satisfaction levels.”
The two-day summit will feature industry leaders, AI specialists, and marketing professionals, offering expert-led discussions, interactive workshops, and case study presentations. Speakers include Sanaa Bousbai (co-founder, Digital Institute, Morocco), Vikash Dadoo (Interactive Consulting, India), Mike Harker (public affairs chief, US Embassy Kathmandu), and Suketu Gohel (head of art & creative director, Schbang, India).
The sessions will delve into AI-powered consumer insights, automation in advertising, and ethical concerns surrounding AI in marketing. Case studies will examine Nepal’s current standing in AI adoption, highlighting both opportunities and challenges for local businesses in implementing AI-driven strategies.
Swar also acknowledges Nepal’s evolving position in AI adoption, adding, “While we may be progressing in AI adoption, the practical implementation of AI in local organisations remains a challenge. This event will serve as a crucial step toward bridging that gap.”
