Release of Ranjith Sajeev’s film avoids clash with Narivetta and Detective Ujjwalan

The upcoming Malayalam film United Kingdom of Kerala’s makers announced that its theatrical premiere has been postponed. Previously scheduled for release on May 23, the film has been rescheduled for a date that the producers have not yet confirmed.

Ranjith Sajeev plays the lead in the film, which has its release date repeatedly delayed due to unknown reasons. It has been disclosed, meanwhile, that the family drama’s May 23 theatrical debut had been rescheduled. It is reasonable to infer that the film’s release has been delayed in order to prevent conflict with Tovino Thomas’ Narivetta and Dhyan Sreenivasan’s Detective Ujjwalan. Sreenath Bhasi’s Azadi is also hitting the big screen on the same day. United Kingdom of Kerala is expected to release in June.

This film has been directed by Arun Vaiga. The screenplay for this film was written by the director himself. The cinematographer is Sinoj P Ayyappan. Apart from Ranjith Sajeev, Johny Antony is also playing the protagonist’s father in United Kingdom of Kerala. The actor-director is well-known for his directorials, including Cycle and C.I.D. Moosa. Additionally, he played important roles in other films, including Turbo, which came out last year. 

United Kingdom of Kerala’s supporting cast includes Indrans, Alphonse Puthren, Manoj K Jayan, Sangeetha, Manju Pillai, and Sarangi Shyam. Under the auspices of Pooyappally Films and Fragrant Nature Film Creations, Anne Sajeev and Alex have bankrolled the film. The movie’s soundtracks have been composed by Rajesh Murugesan.
