Reliance Jio launches JioPC, a virtual pay-as-you-go cloud computer  

JioPC turns any screen into a full-fledged computer, requiring no costly hardware or upgrades

Reliance Jio has announced the launch of JioPC, a cloud-based AI-enabled virtual desktop platform, which will be available for JioFiber and Jio AirFiber customers.

JioPC is available to all existing and new Jio AirFiber (fixed wireless service) customers across the country at a first-ever pay-as-you-go model. This means the product will be accessible to around 7.4 million people, as per the company’s latest quarterly result. New users can get free access to the service for one month.

Subscription plans for JioPC start at ₹400 per month, providing features of a high-end PC worth at least ₹50,000, said the company in a press release.

JioPC has partnered with Adobe to offer users free access to Adobe Express, a world-class design and editing tool. The subscription includes access to all key AI tools, popular applications and 512 GB of cloud storage.

“JioPC is built for India’s fast-growing digital economy — from solopreneurs and side hustlers to school-going children,” said Jio.
