Salman Khan’s film FINALLY enters Rs 100 crore club on second Sunday
It took literally a whole week for Salman Khan’s Sikandar to enter Rs. 100 crore club. The movie, which released the previous Sunday, touched Rs. 100 crore on its second Sunday. This is unusual for superstar Salman Khan, if it were in the pre-COVID era. Bhaijaan’s films have been struggling post-COVID and Sikandar’s minimal performance proves that it continues doing so.
Sikandar Box Office collection day 8
Sikandar earned Rs. 4.50 crore on day 8 of its release, according to Sacnilk. This would be the second Sunday after Sikandar’s release on the previous Sunday. With the second weekend earnings of Sikandar being Rs. 12 crore, a staggering drop of more 50% from its opening day itself, the movie could only earn Rs. 102.25 crore net so far.
Sikandar gross total nearing Rs 200 crore mark?
The production house claims that Sikandar has minted Rs. 187.84 crore in gross earnings from both domestic and International markets. If that is the case, then the film is closer to Rs. 200 crore mark but in gross earnings. This is a prediction that Salman had boldly made when releasing the trailer one week before the movie’s release. “Haan, 200, 200. 100 bahut pehle ki baat hai,” the superstar said when predicting the Box Office collections of Sikandar. This, of course, was in reference to his previous movie Tiger 3 entering Rs. 200 crore club. Of course, when it comes to the net Box Office collections, Sikandar has got a rather long way to go before touching Rs. 200 crore mark after its initial Eid boost (Sikandar had minted Rs. 26 crore on day 1 and Rs. 29 crore on day 2 i.e. Eid holiday).
