At the ongoing Hyundai India Couture Week, actor Sara Ali Khan brought unabashed glamour to the runway as she walked for Aisha Rao.
Set against a lush backdrop of banana leaves, lotus blooms, and palms, the showcase was a surreal escape into nature’s unfiltered magic, blending bold fantasy with nostalgic detail. For her showstopper look, Sara Ali Khan was draped in a shimmering rose-gold lehenga. She looked ethereal yet fierce. Her outfit featured intricate embroidery with wild flora, palm leaves, and tropical motifs.
The structured yet romantic silhouette was a study in contrast: soft, layered textures met sharply tailored cuts. At the same time, the off-shoulder blouse added a hint of playfulness to the dramatic ensemble. Beaded embellishments and metallic threadwork played with light as she moved, adding a sense of fluidity and motion to the rich textile story.
