After eight years at Celio India, Satyen Momaya has formally taken over as CEO of PVH Arvind Fashion Pvt. Ltd. effective 1st August, where he will be overseeing Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein’s activities in India. This appointment coincides with Amisha Jain scheduled to assume the role of Managing Director and CEO of Arvind Fashions Ltd., on 13th August 2025
Founded on 24th March 2014, PVH Arvind is an Indian joint venture between Arvind Fashions Ltd. and PVH Corp. With Arvind owning the majority of the company and PVH maintaining worldwide brand ownership, this arrangement combined Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein’s brand licensing, sourcing, and retail activities under a single operating body.
With 136 Tommy Hilfiger and 85 Calvin Klein exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) as of 31st March 2024, the joint venture has had a strong e-commerce presence throughout metro areas and Tier-2,3 markets in addition to shop-in-shop counters in upscale department stores.
The “Power Brands” division of Arvind Fashions Ltd. generated Rs. 3,239 crore (US $ 369 million) in FY ’24, an increase of 10.7% from the previous year. Together, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein are thought to account for 30–35% of that total, highlighting their dominance in the luxury market.
To this leadership position, Satyen Momaya contributes extensive retail execution experience. Prior to joining Celio, he worked for Levi Strauss for more than nine years, where he developed his knowledge of the denim and lifestyle markets in India. He tripled the number of stores at Celio India from about 180 to over 700 between 2017 and 2025, created over 75 exclusive stores, and increased profitability despite pandemic-related challenges by establishing a results-driven, disciplined culture.
