Scarlett Johansson reflects on standout moments at Cannes Film Festival
Scarlett Johansson has recently opened up about few standout moments at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
The actress made her debut as a director with movie, Eleanor the Great which was premiered at the Cannes.
When asked about any standout moment at the festival, the Black Widow actress replied that there were so many especially being able to stand alongside Erin Kellyman and June Squibb after the movie premiere.
Scarlett revealed she could feel the warmth and love of the audience for the movie and for the incredible performances.
“It was such a moving moment,” said the 40-year-old while speaking to Extra TV.
Scarlett noted that just to “see June so celebrated everywhere we went in Cannes, people were so excited to see her”.
“It was amazing,” remarked the Lucy actress.
Scarlett opened up that she would never forget that moment of “just being with those women after the screening and celebrating with the audience”.
Elsewhere in the interview, the Fly Me to the Moon actress shared the experience of directing a small independent movie.
“When you make a movie that’s smaller independent movie, it has its own challenges,” she mentioned.
Scarlett added, “And then to be in this glamorous International stage with amazing moviemakers and movie lovers, it was unbelievable.”
