Science wins at annual SD51 fair
Annual district-wide competition brings hundreds of students to two-day event.
The brightest young inventors and scientists in the Boundary Region all competed for glory and top spots at the annual SD51 Science Fair.
Students from Grade 2 to Grade 9 met in two locations: Grand Forks Secondary School for the eastern schools on March 3 and Boundary Central Secondary School for the western schools on March 5. Altogether, around 350 students met and competed in their respective locations, according to co-organizer and Hutton Elementary School Principal Peter Scott.
While everyone was competing for top places, all participants received a T-shirt for participating.
