Services exports up 10.2%, surge to $33.7 billion in July

India’s services sector exports surged to $33.74 billion in July, reflecting a robust 10.2% growth compared to July 2024, according to the figures released by the Reserve Bank of India.

According to the monthly report on India’s international trade in services, exports have shown consistent growth, climbing from $32.10 billion in June and $32.45 billion in May. This upward trajectory signals sustained global demand for Indian services, particularly in IT, consulting and other knowledge-based industries.

Meanwhile, imports of services reached $17.29 billion in July, recording an 8.5% increase from the same period last year. While both exports and imports grew, the stronger export performance underscored the increasing competitiveness of India’s services sector globally.
