SEVENTEEN has achieved a grand slam, winning five consecutive music shows with their new song “THUNDER“! On June 8, they took 1st place on SBS’s “Inkigayo” up against IU and WOODZ.
The group has now lifted five trophies with “THUNDER” on various music shows, including MBC M’s “Show! Champion”, Mnet’s “M Countdown”, KBS2’s “Music Bank”, and MBC’s “Show! Music Core”. The members expressed their gratitude, saying, “We worked really hard on this album, and it feels good that all that effort has been rewarded,” and “We want to dedicate this award to CARAT. “THUNDER” is gaining popularity thanks to its addictive sound and powerful performance. The song topped Melon’s “Top 100” and Bugs’ daily chart, and also ranked #1 on Circle Chart’s latest weekly digital chart. SEVENTEEN’s global popularity was evident in their rankings on major overseas charts, including US Billboard’s ‘Global 200’ and ‘Global (Excl. US)’, UK Official Chart’s ‘Single Downloads’ and ‘Single Sales’, and Billboard Japan’s ‘Hot 100’.
