Sharrow of Women’s Track & Field Named Landmark Field Athlete of the Week

Junior Sam Sharrow of The University of Scranton women’s track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. 

This marks the first career Landmark Athlete of the Week award for the Collingdale, PA native. 

Sharrow finished second overall in the long jump at the SU Invite on Saturday with a jump of 5.60m. She broke her own program record which she set earlier this season on Feb. 1 at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational (5.54m). 

Sharrow and the Royals will return to the track on Friday, Feb. 21 at the SU Tune Up hosted by Susquehanna University.
