Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 8: Salman Khan’s film crosses Rs 100 crore mark – Entertainment News
Sikandar Box Office Collection: According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Sikandar has managed to cross the Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office after eight days of release. While the milestone is significant, it took longer than usual, with most big-budget films hitting the figure within the first weekend.
The film’s second weekend performance has been underwhelming. According to early estimates, Sikandar earned Rs 3.5 crore on Friday, Rs 4 crore on Saturday, and Rs 2.52 crore till 5:30 pm on Sunday. The Sunday numbers are expected to close around Rs 5-6 crore. The sluggish performance has sparked criticism online, with fans trolling Salman Khan for what many are calling “poor film choices” and “low-effort acting.”
Amid its theatrical run, Sikandar also fell prey to piracy. The movie was allegedly leaked across multiple illegal streaming platforms, including Telegram groups, in various formats such as HD, offering users both download and online viewing options.
Despite these setbacks, Sikandar has managed to hold its ground at the box office, though it’s likely to go down as one of Salman Khan’s lower-grossing films. After its theatrical window closes, the movie is slated to premiere on Netflix.
