Sree Vishnu’s film is rock steady, nears Rs 40 crore mark

#Single is Sree Vishnu’s new film that is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. Despite taking a dull start on day one, the comedy caper has shocked the trade and is minting solid money, thereby landing the makers solid profits. Produced by Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo fame Allu Aravind, #Single had a solid Saturday and made close to Rs 2 crore worldwide.

With this, the total collections of the film have reached close to Rs 40 crore. The Sunday collections are also going to be huge. As there was no IPL and no big releases in the last few days, the comedy caper benefited big time at the box office.

Samajavaragamana fame Sree Vishnu’s performance is being hailed big time, as the comedy he evoked in the film is top-notch. All his scenes with seasoned comedian and Sathi Gani Rendu Ekaralu fame Vennela Kishore are among the major highlights of the film.

#Single is also special as it marks the Telugu debut of Tamil sensation Ivana. She had a great role in the film, and her combination scenes with Sree Vishnu in the second half are hilarious, especially the pub scenes where Sree Vishnu comments about Iavana, her height, and rejects her love proposal.

#Single packs a punch with is US collections

#Single is making heads turn in the US too, as it has grossed just over $600k to date. This is the highest-ever collection for any Sree Vishnu film to date. Another special aspect of the film is that a part of the film’s profits will be donated to the Indian Army, which fought in the recent India-Pakistan war.
