Starlite Arts and Music Festival brought local musicians and makers to Growlers Stadium
KALAMAZOO, Mich. — An arts and music festival wrapped for the weekend Sunday with an inflatable city, yard games and food.
Spanning from Friday to Sunday, The Starlite Collective threw their first-ever Starlight Arts and Music Festival at Homer Stryker Field with local handmade makers booths, local musicians, outdoor games and activities for all ages, according to organizers.
Each day had a little something different to offer, starting on Friday with their 21+ “A Summer Night Under Starlite” with DJs, EDM and alt music.
“Celebration Saturday,” an all ages day, focused on uplifting diversity in the community by hosting local nonprofits, music of all genres and other local entertainment
Their final day, “Sensory Friendly Sunday,” another all ages day, had a quiet morning hour from 11 a.m. to noon and an inflatable city for kids, yard games, interactive activities, family-friendly musicians and cover bands.
