NEW DELHI: FMCG stocks were trading lower on Wednesday at 10:24AM

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.12%), LT Foods Ltd.(up 0.89%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.73%), Colgate-Palmolive(India)Ltd.(up 0.72%), Nakoda Group Of Industries Ltd.(up 0.48%), Nakoda Group Of Industries Ltd.(up 0.48%), ADF Foods Ltd.(up 0.47%), Dodla Dairy Ltd.(up 0.42%), Gillette India Ltd.(up 0.38%) and Patanjali Foods Ltd.(up 0.31%) were among the top gainers.

Vadilal Industries Ltd.(down 2.70%), Euro India Fresh Foods Ltd.(down 2.40%), Prataap Snacks Ltd.(down 1.77%), Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Ltd.(down 1.55%), Honasa Consumer Ltd.(down 1.47%), AWL Agri Business Ltd.(down 1.36%), Gopal Snacks Ltd.(down 1.28%), Bikaji Foods International Ltd.(down 1.05%), Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare Ltd.(down 0.96%) and Parag Milk Foods Ltd.(down 0.85%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 37.3 points up at 24204.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 198.19 points at 79793.78 at around 10:24AM.

HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 6.47%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 5.01%), Infosys Ltd.(up 3.24%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.37%), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.29%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 2.18%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.02%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.14%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.82%) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 0.72%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.64%), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 1.52%), Trent Ltd.(down 1.31%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.29%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 1.21%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 0.89%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 0.87%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.86%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 0.84%) and State Bank of India(down 0.78%) were trading in the red.
