Stream All Eight Movies Anywhere

It’s hard to believe that the last Harry Potter movie hit theaters over a decade ago. Fortunately, the beloved wizarding series is available to stream from home with the proper setup. If you want to relive the magic, we’ll show you all of your streaming options for the franchise, including where to watch Harry Potter films, the Fantastic Beasts spinoffs, and details on the forthcoming TV series.

Based on the books by J.K. Rowling, the Harry Potter film franchise follows Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they attend the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and attempt to evade the ever-growing evil of Voldemort. Although there are seven books, the series is broken up into eight films. Each film has a hefty runtime (every movie is at least two-and-a-half hours long), so it will take you almost 20 hours to watch everything.

There’s a pretty good chance you’ve already seen the Harry Potter movies, but it’s never a bad time for a rewatch. We’ll show you how to get a jump-start on your Harry Potter marathon below, no matter where you’re located.

How to watch the Harry Potter TV series

A Harry Potter TV series is in the works, although you probably won’t be able to watch it until around 2026. According to Variety, the series is slated to start filming in Summer 2025. The Warner Bros. series is a retelling of the original story, spread over several episodes (and, most likely, seasons). There’s a new cast, which includes John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore and Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape. There’s no word yet on international viewing options, but the series will stream on Max in the US.
