Sumit Dhingra has been named Bestseller India’s country director, succeeding Vineet Gautam who resigned from his position last year. Dhingra will take over the position on 1st June 2025. He provides a wealth of knowledge in general management, brand building, retail expansion, and strategic growth from his more than 20 years in the fashion and lifestyle sector.
Dhingra has worked as an executive for renowned Indian and foreign fashion brands. He started his career with Aditya Birla Fashion and Lifestyle and United Colours of Benetton before working for Arvind Fashions for ten years, during which time he helped expand a number of international companies. Since joining Crocs in 2019, he has successfully directed business operations throughout Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and India.
Bestseller CEO Anders Holch Povlsen expressed his confidence that Sumit will contribute to growth with the team. For the business, India is a very significant market, and the patrons’ confidence and support are greatly valued. Bestseller is eager to keep growing and provide customers all throughout the nation with amazing fashion experiences.
