Sunny Deol takes father Dharmendra to USA for medical treatment, state reports | Etimes

Sunny Deol who is basking in the success of ‘Gadar 2’ has reportedly taken his father Dharmendra to the USA for treatment. According to reports in a news portal, the father-son duo will be in the US for around 15-20 days. Reports further stated that Dharmendra who is currently 87-years-old has been having health issues for a while; hence Sunny has decided to take his father to the US for further treatment. However, the report also stated that there is nothing to worry about. Along with Sunny, Dharmendra also delivered a hit film with ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ wherein he played an old ailing man who rediscovers the love of his life played by Shabana Azmi. The two senior actors also made headlines with a kissing scene in the Karan Johar-directorial. As for Sunny’s ‘Gadar 2’, the film was a bumper hit at the box-office as it collected over Rs 510 crore in India. The sequel to ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Kathaa’ is so far the second biggest hit of this year after Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’. Even Dharmendra celebrated the massive success of his son’s film with a special Instagram post.
