Swift Current athletes medal at Alberta Track Championship

Three Swift Current athletes combined to win two gold and four silver medals at the Alberta Indoor Track and Field Championship in Edmonton on March 1-2.

Macey Tuplin won silver in the U16 Triple Jump.

Colter Folk struck gold in the U18 1,500 Metres and raced to a silver in the 3,000 Metre event.

Jackson Tuplin vaulted to a gold medal performance in the U18 Pole Vault, and captured silver in both the U18 High Jump and the U18 60 Metre Hurdles. Five of the six finishes were personal bests.  

The event featured 742 athletes from 42 track and field teams from Saskatchewan and Alberta.
