ARCATA – On Wednesday, May 7, join Catalina Cuellar-Gempeler for a free presentation entitled “From Frogs and Bacteria to DNA: A Musical Science Journey.”
Her one-hour talk is part of the First Wednesday Lecture Series sponsored by Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM).
The event will be held at the Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center starting at 7 p.m., followed by a Q&A session, and carried live on Zoom at hum boldtstate.zoom.us/j/88248246788?pwd=AuQSlOmC4Zwkq4hzWctlzTySkjKyjY.1#success.

With original music by Marine Snow and featuring a selection of Biological Sciences faculty, you will learn about environmental issues, obscure marine organisms, the microorganisms living inside you, carnivorous plants, epigenetics and more!
MUSICAL SCIENCE A Darlingtonia plant.
No issue is too strange to marvel about our living world; recognize that we still have a lot to learn and sing along to catchy tunes!
