TCS launches SovereignSecure Cloud, DigiBOLT and Cyber Defense Suite to power India’s AI-led digital future

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) unveiled three cutting-edge technology platforms—SovereignSecure Cloud, DigiBOLTTM, and the TCS Cyber Defense Suite—at its “Accelerating India” event in New Delhi on April 24, 2025. The launch underscores TCS’s commitment to supporting India’s ambitions in AI, data sovereignty, and secure digital infrastructure.

SovereignSecure Cloud: India’s AI-powered, nation-first cloud

TCS introduced SovereignSecure Cloud, an indigenous and secure cloud solution designed specifically for the Indian government and public sector enterprises. Built and managed entirely by TCS using Zero Trust architecture, this AI-integrated platform ensures sensitive data remains within India, complying with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It leverages TCS data centres in Mumbai and Hyderabad, providing low-latency, high-security cloud services tailored for critical public operations.

DigiBOLTTM: AI-enabled low-code platform for rapid transformation

TCS DigiBOLTTM is a low-code, AI-enabled platform that allows enterprises to accelerate end-to-end digital transformation. Built on open-source technologies, it enables seamless integration of fragmented legacy systems, modeling and automating business processes at scale. It empowers Indian enterprises to adopt AI-first strategies while increasing agility and reducing time-to-market.

Cyber Defense Suite: Global security expertise, localized protection

TCS launched its globally proven Cyber Defense Suite in India, offering AI-driven, security-as-a-service protection across hybrid cloud, IT, and OT environments. With 360-degree cyber risk visibility, automated threat detection, and prevention controls, the suite reinforces India’s cyber resilience. TCS brings over 16,000 cybersecurity experts and two decades of global experience to this initiative.

TCS CEO Krithivasan on India’s digital leap

Speaking at the event, TCS CEO K Krithivasan and Girish Ramachandran, President of Growth Markets, emphasized the role of these launches in helping India become a global leader in AI, cybersecurity, and digital governance.

“India is at an inflection point where data sovereignty, AI, and digital acceleration are converging,” said Ramachandran. “These offerings reaffirm our commitment to a secure, AI-powered future built in India, for India—and the world.”

A legacy of nation-first innovation

With a digital backbone spanning stock exchanges, passport services, Ayushman Bharat, SPARSH, and more, TCS directly or indirectly touches the lives of 7 out of 10 Indians every day. These new solutions reinforce its role as a key enabler in India’s Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) journey.
