Teaneck, NJ stars in Bon Jovi’s music video: ‘Red, White, and Jersey’

TEANECK — “Red, White, and Jersey” — Teaneck, New Jersey to be more specific.

Bon Jovi’s latest song debuted Aug. 29 on YouTube and filmed at three locations in Teaneck. The new song shows a love story between a young New Jersey couple as they navigate the boardwalk and summer days with a group of friends.

The group is seen “big timing in a small town” of Teaneck where they make stops at Teaneck Cinemas, Cedar Market and Lark Street Music, all located on Cedar Lane.

The iconic neon green “Teaneck” sign outside the movie theater is prominitely shown in the music video. The group is also seen through out Cedar Market that ends with them racing through the isles in the red shopping cart with “Cedar” in green writing on the front.

One of the music video characters can also be seen in the Teaneck Movie theater wearing a “Lark Street Music” baseball hat.

The new music video has almost 300,000 views in its first three days.

One Facebook user posted the music video and said, “Reminds me of the old Teaneck when I was a kid and it was an aarsome town to grow up in!!! Very cool.”

“Amazing to see my hometown featured throughout the Bon Jovi’s new video – the movie theater and guitar store I knew as a kid, and the supermarket I still shop in when I do not have my groceries delivered! Thank you, Bon Jovi ,” another Facebook post said.

While not in Teaneck, the group also makes a pitstop at the Americana Diner in Shrewsbury.
