Thailand gears up to host IMF–World Bank Annual Meetings 2026, showcasing economic strength and culture
From July 2025, Thailand launches a global campaign highlighting its economic potential, rich heritage, and hospitality in preparation for the IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings in Bangkok, October 2026.
BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand is preparing to welcome the world’s top financial leaders as host of the IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings 2026, set for 12–18 October 2026 in Bangkok.
A recent PR Task Force Meeting (2/2025) reviewed strategic communication plans led by the Bank of Thailand. The campaign will run from July 2025 until the event next year, showcasing Thailand’s economic potential, rich culture, and global hospitality through strategic collaboration with government agencies for local and international outreach.

Content featuring Thai culture, architecture, and tourism
Proposed CSR activities, including tree planting and heritage site visits
Public exhibitions and a “Thai Pavilion” at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center
International promotion via a dedicated website and global media partnerships
