Delegates heading to Bangkok for the IMF–World Bank Meetings 2026 can now access travel guides, event updates, and tourism highlights through Thailand’s newly unveiled host country website.
BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand has officially unveiled its host country website for the upcoming IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings 2026, scheduled to take place in Bangkok from October 12 to 18. The website, www.am2026thailand.go.th, will serve as the leading portal for updates and information related to the meetings, including the event’s background, logistics for attendees, and tourism recommendations across Bangkok and other regions of the country.
The meetings will take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), welcoming global leaders, finance ministers, central bank governors, policymakers, and experts in development and finance. It will be Thailand’s second time serving as host, with the first held in 1991.
The website provides delegates with a practical guide to traveling and staying in Thailand, offering resources on transportation, accommodations, and cultural experiences. It also introduces regional travel options to encourage extended visits and promote local tourism during and after the meetings.
Thailand’s role as host underlines its active participation in global financial discussions and its ongoing engagement with the international economic community. The event is expected to draw thousands of attendees and contribute to both policy dialogue and economic activity within the country. (NNT)
