The End of The Road Festival returns to Larmer Tree Gardens later this month

AN eclectic array of musicians and DJ’s will be joined by award winning comedians and thought provoking authors at Wiltshire’s End of The Road Festival later this month

Founded in 2006, the End Of The Road will mark its 19th festival in the grounds of Larmer Tree Gardens on the Dorset-Wiltshire border, this year welcoming over 13,500 attendees across the weekend. The festival boosts five stages, and will feature more 100 live music sets covering a full spectrum of musical genres from 28th to 31st August.

Already announced headliners on the Woods main stage will be Caribou, Father John Misty, Self Esteem and Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory headline.

Known for its magical setting nestled amongst the tree The Garden stage will feature The National’s Matt Berninger followed by Irish folk experimentalist Lisa O’Neill on Friday evening. Headlining on Saturday will be the ferocious Viagra Boys, followed by the genre-defying collective Black Country, New Road on Sunday evening.

On The Folly Stage the spotlight is on the future with a line-up that includes off-kilter shoegaze from bdrmm, experimental indie rock from Jasmine.4.T. and genre-hopping eccentricity from Fabiana Palladino. As well as this, expect late-night secret sets, open-air silent discos, forest raves and the ever-burning bonfire just outside.

The Boat Stage is where things a little unpredictable with a programme that includes industrial-leaning post-punk from Mandy, Indiana, lo-fi grime from Black Fondu, and glacial electronic compositions from Copenhagen’s Astrid Sonne.

The Talking Heads stage is the home of comedy and talks during the day followed by tender, experimental and acoustic performances in the early evening from the likes of Sabine McCalla, Jennifer Castle and Christopher Owens. Comedy moments will be delivered by the likes of Adam Buxton, Stewart Lee, Chris Hall, Sharon Wanjohi and Sean McLoughlin
