The most exciting high jewellery news for April 2023, from LV to Chaumet

For the biggest of occasions, when only a statement purchase will do, of course the historic French houses of Chaumet, Boucheron and Louis Vuitton have you covered.

This season the latter’s Spirit collection gets to the core of what moves us, while Boucheron have been inspired by the spirit of the late Queen Elizabeth to quarry into their archives for a fitting way to remember her.

For something more understated, not to mention more affordable, there’s Chaumet who have turned to K-pop royalty in the shape of Cha Eun-woo, a member of boy band Astro, to endorse a collection that speaks of a couple’s lasting bonds.

Louis Vuitton unveiled the second chapter of its Spirit high jewellery collection, with 30 unique pieces grouped into four themes. The brand’s artistic director for watches and jewellery, Francesca Amfitheatrof, claims the designs are cemented in the 21st century while still drawing upon the maison’s storied history, and the archival designs it has become near-synonymous with.
