The third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries has concluded its work in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, turkmenmetbugat.gov.tm reports.

The final document of the global forum was the Avaza Political Declaration, which enshrines political commitments to implement the Avaza Action Programme for 2024-2034. This programme was adopted by the UN General Assembly in December 2024.

The Avaza Political Declaration outlined five priority areas for joint work over the next decade: structural transformation of economies, trade and integration, sustainable transport and transit, climate resilience, and access to means of implementation – from finance to technology.

The final event of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries was a flag-lowering ceremony.
