Don’t let the yellow alert stop you from enjoying this weekend’s festivals!

August 1-3: Valmiera Summer Theatre Festival

Between August 1 and 3, the Valmiera Summer Theatre Festival will take place in various city squares and outside the city, showing premieres and performances.

The festival is suitable for people of all ages, and some of the performances can certainly be enjoyed even without good conduct of the Latvian language.

August 1-2: Summer Sound

The Liepāja popular music festival Summer Sound 2025 will feature the Swedish dance music sensation Galatnis and UK hitmaker Jonas Blue, as well as local artists such as Ozols, Olas, Carnival Youth, Fiņķis and others.

August 2: AUGam festival

The plant-based food festival AUGam summer edition takes place on Saturday at the Kimmel quarter (Bruņinieku Street 2/Stabu Street 1).

More than 15 plant-based food sellers and caterers will be on site. 

Admission to the event is free. The event takes place from 11 AM to 7 PM.
