Beloved characters from the imagination of Dr. Seuss leap from the page to the stage as “Seussical the Musical” comes to life in Fort Langley.
The show is at the Chief Sepass Theatre from Nov. 6 to 9, presented by P.LA.Y. Society.
“Seussical is a celebration of creativity, community, and courage – values that resonate with P.L.A.Y, and audiences of all ages,” said director Patrick Arnott. “Whether grew up with Dr. Seuss or are discovering him for the first time, this show is a joyful reminder that every voice matters – no matter how small.
Packed with vibrant costumes, toe-tapping music, and laugh-out-loud moments, ‘Seussical the Musical’ is perfect for kids, families, and anyone young at heart. P.L.A.Y. Society is over the moon about bringing this show to Langley and sharing it with everyone.”
The family-friendly production includes Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, the tiny Whos of Whoville, and many more. With a score by Tony Award-winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, “Seussical” weaves together classic Dr. Seuss tales into a story about friendship, loyalty, and the power of imagination.
Showtimes are at 7 p.m. evenings on those four evenings with 2 p.m. matinees on Saturday, Nov. 8, and Sunday, Nov. 9.
Tickets can be purchased online through the society’s Facebook page and eventbrite.ca. Learn more about the society at www.playsociety.ca.
