Only good things can happen when the experts from the industry join hands and Cobbler & Crew is proof of the same. A joint venture between Karan Khilnanai and Vijeeta Singh, Owners of Elephant & Co, Mayur Rane, Ex-Ambassador of Diago, Prasad Thergaonkar and Rishi Bhog, Cobbler & Crew is one of Pune’s most trending spots at the moment, and for good reason.

Mayur Rane has helmed a cocktail menu featuring 12 delicious cocktails with a twist and paired them with unique garnishes like Bhakarwadi, Khakra, and Thecha. The best bit is that the cocktails are focused on local ingredients and are sweetened with natural sugar sources instead of processed sugar.

As for the food, the team’s radical interest in ingredient-first philosophy reflects on its food menu too with co-founders having experience with Michelin star experience. With dishes such as Georgian breads and Jackfruit doughnuts, the cuisine is curated from across the world offering you something to discover, rekindle, and find comfort in.

Jamies Pizzeria

Jamies Pizzeria is a well-known brand in India with outposts in cities like Delhi/NCR, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Mumbai, etc, and has recently opened up an outlet in the heart of Pune at Pavillion Mall. The restaurant highlights fuss-free food prepared with fresh ingredients. The best bit is the open kitchen where you can watch your food being prepared.  Our favourites at the restaurant include Tomato Bruschetta, Funghi pizza, Paneer Kadhai, and The Mac & Cheese. We also highly recommend the eggless non-alcoholic Tiramisu with a hint of orange zest.

The newly-launched restaurant Tao-Fu at JW Marriott, Pune celebrates China’s rich food heritage using generational recipes to tell age-old stories. Located on level one of JW Marriott, Tao-Fu highlights Chinese heritage recipes and an authentic dining atmosphere. The space is done up in colour palettes that blend warm neutral shades with punchy, saturated tones of orange, grey, and gold.

The menu is helmed by Master Chef Fu Lei, of Chinese origin who brings years of experience and is known for his honest flavours, creative touches and influences from his travels. The menu features signature dishes, dim sums, soups, salads, mains, from the wok and oven along with a special hot pot room and desserts.  The Black Fungus Salad, Edamame, Pumpkin and Homemade Chili Paste Steamed Bao, Poached Water chestnut, Chives, and Sichuan chili Sauce Dumpling are must-haves here. Also, don’t forget to have the delicious Ants Climbing On A Tree, which is a spicy sweet potato noodle preparation, and end your meal with The Ying Yang Baos, an exquisite preparation of filled baos.

Nestled in the bylanes of Sangamwadi, Nora resembles a cozy home with a fuss-free vibe. Located conveniently above FabIndia, the charming space is divided into indoor and outdoor terrace sections.

The brain behind Arth and Ammu’s Delivery Kitchen, Chef Amninder Sandhu is quite well known on Pune’s food circuit and is the person behind Nora. Start with the Grazing Platter, an enormous – and delicious – platter comprising truffle and pistachio cheese, Wayanad pepper-crusted cheese, confit garlic hummus, muhammara, honey chilli cashews, candied walnuts, veg crudites, poached pear, citrus compote, pull-apart bread, and crackers. Order one of the delicious salads along with the Paneer Kulcha, and end your meal with a slice of the heavenly Basque Cheesecake.
