Tinubu meets Anshula Kant, World Bank MD, CFO 

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, met behind closed doors with Anshula Kant, the Managing Director of the World Bank Group and his team.

Also present at the meeting, was Taimur Samad, the country manager of World Bank Group and Mayank Goyal, advisor World Bank Group.

On the Federal government team was Wale Edun, the minister of finance and coordinating minister of the economy, Bosun Tijani, the minister of  communication and digital economy, as well as Femi Gbajabiamila, the chief of staff to the President.

Although details of the agenda was not immediately available, Villa sources said it was a courtesy visit by the World Bank officials.
