Tonganoxie High girls soccer wasn’t able to crack the win column in Week 1 of the 2025 season, but the Chieftains narrowly lost in the season opener and then played to a draw in the conference opener.

Atchison outlasted Tonganoxie, 3-2, Tuesday at Beatty Field in the opener for both teams.

Tonganoxie then traveled Thursday to Baldwin to take on the Bulldogs and played to a 2-2 draw.

THS was back home Tuesday against Leavenworth. The match took place after The Mirror’s print deadline, but more about the match can be found online at tonganoxiemirror.com and in the April 9 print edition of The Mirror.
